Samsung's One UI 7

 Samsung's One UI 7 is the company's latest user interface, introduced alongside Android 15. It was first unveiled on January 22, 2025, with the launch of the Galaxy S25 series. The stable release for other eligible devices is scheduled to begin in April 2025.


Key Features of One UI 7:

  • Redesigned Interface: The update brings a fresh look to icons, widgets, the camera app, and the lock screen.


  • Enhanced Quick Panel: The quick panel is now divided into two sections: the notification panel and the control panel, offering a more streamlined experience.


  • Now Bar: Located at the bottom of the screen, the Now Bar provides quick access to various functionalities, similar to iOS's "Live Activities."


  • AI Integration: One UI 7 incorporates advanced AI features, including tools for writing assistance, call recording with transcription, and enhanced camera functionalities.




Beta Program Expansion:

Samsung has expanded the One UI 7 beta program to include devices like the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Galaxy S23 series, and Tab S10 series in select markets, including India, Korea, the U.K., and the U.S. Users can join the beta program through the Samsung Members app.


Release Timeline:

  • January 2025: One UI 7 debuted with the Galaxy S25 series.

  • April 2025: Stable release of One UI 7 is expected to roll out for other eligible devices.
